Servings: 4 people
Course: Dinner
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken wings
  • 1/2 tbsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
Buffalo Sauce
  • 1/3 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter melted
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Equipment

  • Air fryer

Method

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This helps them get crispy.
  2. In a bowl, toss the wings with salt and pepper until they are evenly coated.
  3. Place the seasoned wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  4. Air fry the wings at 380°F (195°C) for 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
  5. While the wings cook, prepare the buffalo sauce. In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, combine the hot sauce, melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Stir until well combined.
  6. Once the wings are cooked and crispy, transfer them to a large bowl.
  7. Pour the buffalo sauce over the hot wings and toss gently until every wing is coated.
  8. Serve the wings immediately.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can lightly dust the wings with a teaspoon of cornstarch before seasoning and air frying.
