Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup water or milk
  • 1/2 small apple chopped
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp sweetener optional, e.g., maple syrup or honey

Method
 

  1. Combine oats, water or milk, chopped apple, and cinnamon in a small saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the oats are tender and the liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in sweetener if desired.
  4. Serve warm.

Notes
