Baked Pears With Oat

Ingredients
  

For the Pears
  • 4 pears cored and halved
For the Oat Topping
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

  • Small bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the cored and halved pears cut-side up in a baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the rolled oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Pour the melted butter over the oat mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Spoon the oat mixture into the hollowed-out centers of the pears.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the pears are tender and the topping is golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm. You can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of honey if desired.
