Chicken and Bacon Loaded Fries

Ingredients
  

For the Fries
  • 1 kg Potatoes cut into fries
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
For the Topping
  • 250 g Cooked chicken breast diced
  • 150 g Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Chopped chives for garnish

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Frying pan
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  5. While the fries are baking, prepare your toppings. Ensure your chicken is cooked and diced, and your bacon is cooked and crumbled.
  6. Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and place them on a serving platter.
  7. Top the fries with the diced chicken, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Return the platter to the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from the oven and dollop with sour cream. Garnish with chopped chives.
  10. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can add other toppings like jalapeños, onions, or different types of cheese.
