Chicken Pillows With Parmesan Sauce

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Pillows
  • 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
For the Parmesan Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 1/2 cups Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the floured chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Continue to cook, stirring, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the Parmesan sauce. Heat through for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Serve the chicken pillows immediately with the Parmesan sauce.

Notes

You can serve this dish over pasta, rice, or with a side of vegetables.
