Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
- Unfold the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface. Brush the entire surface with melted butter.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered pastry.
- Fold the pastry sheet in half lengthwise, pressing gently to seal.
- Cut the folded pastry into 12 strips, about 1/2 inch wide.
- Gently twist each strip several times and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
You can add a simple glaze of powdered sugar and milk if desired.
