Ingredients

For the Crust
  • 1 pre-made pie crust or your favorite homemade recipe
For the Filling
  • 2 packages cream cheese softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Swirls
  • 3 tablespoons divided food coloring (e.g., pink, yellow, blue, green)

Equipment

  • 9-inch pie plate
  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Press the pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract, sour cream, milk, and salt until well combined.
  4. Divide the filling into four small bowls. Add a different food coloring to each bowl and stir until the color is evenly distributed.
  5. Dollop spoonfuls of each colored filling randomly into the unbaked pie crust.
  6. Use a toothpick or a skewer to gently swirl the colors together. Be careful not to overmix.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set and a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the pie cool completely on a wire rack before chilling in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

You can adjust the amount of food coloring to achieve your desired color intensity. For a firmer pie, you can add an extra egg yolk to the filling.
