Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Dough Bites
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour heat-treated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or mini chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  2. Beat in the vanilla extract and milk until well combined.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the heat-treated flour and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  6. Place the cookie dough bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to firm up before serving.

Notes

To heat-treat the flour, spread it on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes, or microwave it until it reaches 165°F (74°C). Let it cool completely before using.
