- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and milk until well combined.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the heat-treated flour and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the cookie dough bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to firm up before serving.
