Ingredients
  

  • 1 container cottage cheese 24 ounce
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or your favorite
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives or green onions optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined and smooth.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese and chives or green onions, if using.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can add cooked vegetables like spinach, bell peppers, or onions to the mixture before baking. For a heartier meal, add cooked diced ham or bacon.
