- In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined and smooth.
- Stir in the shredded cheese and chives or green onions, if using.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Notes
You can add cooked vegetables like spinach, bell peppers, or onions to the mixture before baking. For a heartier meal, add cooked diced ham or bacon.
