Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet slightly. Use a round cookie cutter (about 3 inches in diameter) to cut out 12 circles.
- Gently press each puff pastry circle into a cup of the muffin tin, forming a small cup.
- Place one piece of brie cheese into each puff pastry cup.
- Top each piece of brie with about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
- Brush the edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg wash.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and puffed, and the brie is melted.
- Let the bites cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes before carefully removing them.
Notes
Serve warm. You can garnish with a sprig of rosemary or a sprinkle of chopped nuts if desired.
