- Place eggs in a large pot and cover with cold water by 1 inch. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Drain hot water and immediately fill the pot with ice water. Let eggs cool for 10 minutes, then peel.
- Cut each egg in half lengthwise. Scoop out the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and white vinegar to the egg yolks. Mash with a fork until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
- Decorate each deviled egg with chopped black olives for eyes and chopped pimento stuffed green olives for mouths to create a spooky face.
- Arrange on a platter and serve.
Notes
You can add a pinch of paprika for color or a dash of hot sauce for a little kick to the yolk mixture.
