Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cook the pork sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess fat. Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Spread the thawed hash brown potatoes evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Spoon the cooked sausage and onion mixture over the hash browns.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the sausage and potatoes in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded Cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake for 35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is melted and lightly browned. Let it cool for a few minutes before cutting and serving.
Notes
You can substitute the pork sausage with ground turkey or chicken for a different flavor profile.
