Ingredients
  

For the Crust
  • 1 pre-made pie crust refrigerated pie crust or homemade
For the Filling
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1.5 cup milk or half-and-half
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar, Swiss, or Monterey Jack
  • 1/2 cup cooked breakfast meat bacon, sausage, or ham, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped vegetables onion, bell pepper, spinach, mushrooms
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Press the pie crust into the 9-inch pie plate.
  2. If using raw vegetables like onions or peppers, sauté them in a skillet until softened. If using pre-cooked meat, ensure it is crumbled or chopped.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Spread the cooked vegetables and meat evenly over the bottom of the pie crust. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the fillings.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the fillings in the pie crust.
  6. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown. A knife inserted near the center should come out clean.
  7. Let the quiche cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

You can customize this quiche with any of your favorite breakfast ingredients. Consider adding diced tomatoes, cooked spinach, or different types of cheese.
