Easy Mississippi Mud Potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 2.5 cups diced potatoes
  • 0.75 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup crumbled cooked bacon
  • 0.5 cup diced onion
  • 0.33 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 garlic cloves pressed
  • 1 to taste salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onions

Method
 

  1. Cook the diced potatoes until tender. Drain them well.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked potatoes, Cheddar cheese, bacon, diced onion, mayonnaise, and pressed garlic.
  3. Mix all ingredients together gently until everything is coated.
  4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to your preference.
  5. Stir in the chopped green onions.
  6. Serve the Mississippi Mud Potatoes warm.

Notes

You can adjust the amount of mayonnaise based on how creamy you want the final dish to be.
