- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
- Push the shrimp and broccoli to one side of the skillet. Add butter to the empty side.
- Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Stir everything together to combine.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve immediately as is, or over rice or pasta.
