Garlic Chili Shrimp With Jasmine Rice

Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp
  • 1 lb Shrimp Peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes Or to taste
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
For the Rice
  • 2 cups Jasmine rice Cooked according to package directions

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Saucepan

Method
 

  1. Cook jasmine rice according to package directions.
  2. While the rice is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, honey, and lime juice. Cook for another minute until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  6. Serve the garlic chili shrimp over the cooked jasmine rice.

Notes

Garnish with chopped cilantro or green onions if desired.
