Method
- In a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, whisk together the flour, yeast, and salt.
- Add the warm water and 1/4 cup olive oil. Mix until a shaggy dough forms. If using a stand mixer, mix on low speed for 5-7 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. If mixing by hand, turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes.
- Lightly grease a clean bowl with olive oil. Place the dough in the bowl, turning to coat. Cover with plastic wrap or a damp towel and let rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 425F (220C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking sheet with olive oil.
- Gently punch down the dough and transfer it to the prepared baking sheet. Stretch and press the dough to fill the pan. If it resists, let it rest for 5 minutes before continuing.
- In a small bowl, combine the 1/4 cup olive oil, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, rosemary (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Drizzle the garlic Parmesan mixture evenly over the dough. Use your fingers to create dimples all over the surface of the dough.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes
You can add other herbs like oregano or thyme to the topping. For extra flavor, you can brush the top with melted butter after baking.
