Ingredients

For the Ghost Balls
  • 36 cookies Oreo cookies regular, not double-stuffed
  • 8 oz Cream cheese softened
  • 12 oz White chocolate chips or candy melts
For the Ghost Faces
  • 1 tube Black decorating icing or edible marker

Equipment

  • Food processor
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave-safe bowl

Method

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor. Reserve about 2 tablespoons of crumbs for later if desired.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs with the softened cream cheese until well combined.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes until firm.
  6. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  7. Dip each frozen Oreo ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Let excess chocolate drip off.
  8. Place the coated balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Use the black decorating icing or edible marker to draw ghost faces on each white chocolate-coated ball.
  10. Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving.

Notes

Store the ghost Oreo balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
