Ingredients

For the Ghost Popcorn Cups
  • 12 Paper cups 4-ounce size
  • 1/4 cup Butter melted
  • 1 bag Microwave popcorn unpopped, 3.5 ounce bag
  • 1/2 cup White candy melts
  • 1/4 cup Black edible marker

Equipment

  • Medium bowl
  • Microwave
  • Large bowl
  • Spatula
  • Piping bag
  • Small round tip

Method

  1. Prepare the popcorn according to package directions. Let it cool slightly.
  2. Place the paper cups on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to package directions. Stir until smooth.
  4. Place the melted candy melts into a piping bag fitted with a small round tip.
  5. Drizzle the melted candy over the popcorn in the large bowl, tossing gently to coat. You want some pieces to be coated, but not completely covered.
  6. Spoon the popcorn mixture into the prepared paper cups, filling them about two-thirds full.
  7. Using the piping bag, draw two small circles for eyes and a small triangle for a mouth on the white candy coating of each popcorn cup to create a ghost face.
  8. Allow the candy to set completely before serving.

Notes

You can also use black sprinkles for the ghost faces if you do not have an edible marker.
