Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper for the marinade.
- Add the chicken strips to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly in the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature.
- Arrange the marinated chicken tenders in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and lightly golden brown. Flip the tenders halfway through baking for even cooking.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or a side salad.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade. These tenders are delicious served with tzatziki sauce or a lemon-herb aioli.
