Ground Turkey Black Bean

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 can black beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Cook ground turkey in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the black beans, salsa, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until heated through.
  4. Serve hot.

Notes

Serve with your favorite toppings such as shredded cheese, sour cream, or avocado.
