Healthy Tuna Salad Bowl

Ingredients
  

For the Tuna Salad
  • 2 cans tuna in water drained and flaked
  • 1/4 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons celery finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
For the Bowl
  • 2 cups mixed greens
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 cup cucumber diced
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper diced
  • 1/4 cup avocado diced

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, chopped red onion, chopped celery, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, and chopped dill.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  3. Divide the mixed greens between two bowls.
  4. Top the greens with the tuna salad mixture.
  5. Arrange the halved cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, diced bell pepper, and diced avocado around the tuna salad.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can add other vegetables you like, such as carrots or corn. For a different flavor, try adding a squeeze of lemon juice to the tuna salad.
