Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground turkey lean
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs whole wheat
  • 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp parsley fresh, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, beaten egg, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  3. Roll the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite sauce or as part of a meal.

Notes
