Method
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add asparagus to the skillet and cook until tender-crisp, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, and butter. Cook until butter is melted and sauce is slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the skillet. Add chopped parsley and stir to combine.
- Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.

Serve over rice or pasta, or with a side salad.
