- Prepare the chicken: Rub chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the chicken: Grill or pan-fry the chicken breasts until cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Let rest, then slice.
- Assemble the sandwiches: Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
- Layer the ingredients: On four slices of bread, layer lettuce, tomato slices, cooked bacon, sliced chicken, and cheese.
- Complete the sandwiches: Top with the remaining four slices of bread, mayonnaise-side down.
- Serve: Cut sandwiches in half if desired and serve immediately.
