Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 large chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Sandwich
  • 8 slices of bread your favorite kind, toasted
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 head lettuce shredded
  • 2 medium tomatoes sliced
  • 8 slices bacon cooked and crisp
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese

  • Grill or skillet
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Prepare the chicken: Rub chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook the chicken: Grill or pan-fry the chicken breasts until cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Let rest, then slice.
  3. Assemble the sandwiches: Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
  4. Layer the ingredients: On four slices of bread, layer lettuce, tomato slices, cooked bacon, sliced chicken, and cheese.
  5. Complete the sandwiches: Top with the remaining four slices of bread, mayonnaise-side down.
  6. Serve: Cut sandwiches in half if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

You can add avocado slices or a different type of cheese for variation.
