Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Pour the heavy cream into the skillet around the chicken.
  6. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese and bacon over the chicken.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
