- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage. Cut the cabbage into quarters and remove the core.
- Place the cabbage quarters on a baking sheet. Brush them with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Roast for 30 minutes.
- While the cabbage is roasting, whisk together the vegetable broth, soy sauce, maple syrup, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl.
- After 30 minutes, carefully flip the cabbage quarters. Pour the sauce over the cabbage.
- Continue roasting for another 30 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender and caramelized.
- Serve hot.
Notes
You can add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a little heat. This dish pairs well with many main courses.
