Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, cheddar cheese, mixed vegetables, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the crushed crackers with the melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
- Let it stand for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
This casserole can be assembled ahead of time and baked when ready. For meal prepping, divide into individual containers after baking and cooling.
