- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the chopped nuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle extra nuts on top if you wish.
- Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
For a richer flavor, you can substitute brown sugar for the granulated sugar. If your bananas are not very ripe, the bread will be less sweet and moist.
