Mouthwatering Boursin Chicken

This recipe for Boursin Chicken is simple to make and full of flavor. It features tender chicken breasts coated in a creamy, garlicky Boursin cheese sauce.

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts chicken breasts about 6-8 ounces each
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Boursin Sauce
  • 1 container Boursin cheese Garlic & Fine Herbs flavor
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Add the Boursin cheese, heavy cream, and chicken broth to the skillet. Stir until the Boursin cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  5. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the chicken to warm through and the sauce to thicken slightly.
  6. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Notes
