Orange Glazed Turkey Breast

A simple and flavorful turkey breast recipe with a sweet and tangy orange glaze.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Turkey breast bone-in, skin-on
  • 1/2 cup Orange juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Equipment

  • Roasting pan
  • Basting brush
  • Meat thermometer

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder to make the glaze.
  5. Roast the turkey for 45 minutes.
  6. Brush half of the orange glaze over the turkey breast.
  7. Continue roasting for another 30 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the breast registers 74°C (165°F).
  8. Brush the remaining glaze over the turkey during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
  9. Let the turkey rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.

Notes

You can add orange zest to the glaze for extra flavor. Serve with your favorite side dishes.
