Quick Chocolate Chip Cookies

Make these simple chocolate chip cookies using only three ingredients. They are fast to prepare and bake.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large bananas, ripe
  • 1 3/4 cup quick oats (5 ¼ oz/160 g)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips, semi-sweet or dark (3 oz/85 g)

  • Large cookie sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Large bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the bananas in a large bowl. Add the oats and mix well to combine. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Scoop 2 tablespoons of the dough onto your cookie sheet and flatten to make 2 ½ inch (5 cm) discs. Arrange them 1 inch apart.
  4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the cookies are golden on top and just set when touched.
  5. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before moving them to a wire rack. Store them in an air-tight container for up to 2 days.

Notes

These cookies do not spread much while baking.
