Simple Texas Roadhouse Salmon Recipe

Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 2 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper adjusted to taste
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1 lemon juice of
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon slices for serving

  • Small bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for baking.
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create a spice mixture.
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Coat the salmon fillets generously with the prepared spice mixture using a brush or your hands. Make sure the coating is even.
  5. Squeeze the juice of one lemon evenly over the seasoned salmon fillets.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes to keep its moisture.
  8. Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the salmon for garnish. Serve with lemon slices on the side.

Notes

Letting the salmon rest after baking helps retain moisture and enhances flavor.
