- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for baking.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create a spice mixture.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Coat the salmon fillets generously with the prepared spice mixture using a brush or your hands. Make sure the coating is even.
- Squeeze the juice of one lemon evenly over the seasoned salmon fillets.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes to keep its moisture.
- Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the salmon for garnish. Serve with lemon slices on the side.
