Skellington Cheese Ball Appetizer

A festive and easy cheese ball shaped like a skeleton, perfect for Halloween parties.

Ingredients
  

For the Cheese Ball
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
For Decoration
  • 1 black olive for the eye socket
  • 1 red bell pepper cut into strips for bones
  • 1/4 cup parsley chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Plastic wrap
  • Serving platter

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the cheese mixture into a skeleton shape on a piece of plastic wrap. You can form a head, a body, and limbs.
  3. Wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  4. Before serving, unwrap the cheese ball and place it on a serving platter. Decorate the skeleton using the black olive for an eye socket and red bell pepper strips for bones.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley around the base of the cheese ball.

Notes

Serve with your favorite crackers, bread, or vegetable sticks.
