Ingredients
  

Sangria Base
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries optional
  • 1 whole Orange sliced
  • 3 sticks Cinnamon
  • 1 bottle (750ml) Red wine Cabernet Sauvignon recommended
  • 3 shots Brandy
  • 1.5 cups Orange juice
  • 3 to 4 Cranberry juice enough to fill the rest of the pitcher
Topping
  • 1 to 2 Club soda cups

Method
 

  1. Place fresh cranberries (if using), the sliced orange, and cinnamon sticks in the bottom of a large pitcher.
  2. Pour the red wine, orange juice, and cranberry juice over the fruit and cinnamon.
  3. Stir the mixture. Allow it to chill for at least two hours for the best flavor development.
  4. Pour the sangria into glasses, filling them about three-quarters full. Top each glass with club soda.
