Strawberry Juice

This recipe shows you how to make fresh strawberry juice using a blender or a juicer machine.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb strawberries 454g
  • 1.75 cups cold filtered water or to taste
Optional Ingredients
  • to taste Sugar
  • to taste Lemon or lime juice
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

  1. If using a blender: Clean and hull the strawberries.
  2. If using a blender: Process the strawberries in the blender until pureed.
  3. If using a blender: Add water and optional sugar, lemon or lime, and salt. Blend briefly again to combine.
  4. If using a juice machine: Clean and hull the strawberries.
  5. If using a juice machine: Press the strawberries through the tube to extract the juice.
  6. If using a juice machine: Add water and optional sugar, lemon or lime, and salt. Stir to combine.

Notes

You can serve the juice full strength or dilute it with water. A 1:1 ratio of juice to water works well (add 1 cup of water for every cup of pureed strawberries). Dilute the juice to your preference.
You can also dilute the strawberry juice with sparkling water or coconut water.
You can serve the pure strawberry juice as it is, or add sugar, agave, erythritol, salt, lime, or lemon juice to adjust the flavor.
