Turkey and Black Bean Tacos

Ingredients
  

For the Tacos
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 can black beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 corn tortillas
Optional Toppings
  • shredded lettuce
  • diced tomatoes
  • shredded cheese
  • sour cream
  • salsa

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Spoon

Method
 

  1. Cook ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Stir in the black beans, taco seasoning, and water. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
  3. Warm the tortillas according to package directions.
  4. Fill tortillas with the turkey and black bean mixture. Add your favorite toppings.

Notes

Serve immediately. You can also use flour tortillas if preferred.
