Equipment

  • Large bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Large skillet or pot

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake the meatballs for 15-20 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, heat olive oil in a large skillet or pot over medium heat. Pour in the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.
  6. Carefully add the baked meatballs to the simmering marinara sauce. Stir gently to coat.
  7. Simmer for another 5-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

Serve these meatballs with pasta, in a sub sandwich, or as an appetizer. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce for a little heat.
