- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground turkey and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess fat.
- Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes and chicken broth. Add oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Bring the sauce to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for at least 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve the turkey bolognese sauce over cooked pasta. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of red wine after browning the turkey and let it reduce before adding the tomatoes.
